The Great Ife Alumni Association has begun its Biennial International Retreat and Business Exploratory Tour in Guangzhou, China. The 11-day programme runs from October 23 to November 2.
In a statement, the association’s Global Publicity Secretary, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, said the retreat forms part of the agenda of the Global Executive Council, led by Dr Leye Bunmi Falode, to reposition the association and the university as a centre of excellence in all ramifications.
Falode, the Global President and a Notary Public, is on the trip with the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Simeon Bamire, and a former Global President of the association, Engr. Wale Olaleye.
At least 55 members of the alumni association have already arrived in China for the retreat and business exploratory tour.
