Hon. Godson Okinawa, father of Ilebaye Odiniya, BBNaija Season 8 winner, continues to open up on the alleged physical altercation between him and the reality star, claiming he only acted out of frustration while trying to correct her.
Speaking in a viral audio recording , he alleged that Ilebaye became difficult to advise after winning BBNaija and surrounding herself with certain friends.
“I told her to give a public appreciation to those who supported us till she won BBN but she refused. Her fans began to move backwards and we were not getting support like we expected,” he said.
According to him, he repeatedly warned her about her lifestyle, spending habits and cosmetic procedures. “A child of 24/25, she went for s¥rgery to beautify her face, her body and her b¥mb¥m. Each time I talk to her she will ins¥lts me. I still swallow the ins¥lt and continue to give her advice to the level she started looking at me as her number one enemy,” he alleged.
He further claimed that despite advising her to invest in projects that would help the less privileged, she ignored him and continued spending lavishly. “The way she spends money… I told her several times let us have a place that you can develop so that you can help the p+or, the less privileged but she won’t listen,” he added.
Narrating the alleged incident, Ilebaye’s father claimed the reality star att@cked him during an argument. “I decided to sit her down and talk to her because she is disappointing me too much. Ilebaye took AC hanger and h+t me. She took an electric lantern and br@ke it on my head, you can see the wo¥nd here,” he said.
He also alleged that after undergoing s¥rgery, “anything that touches her no matter how little becomes so big.” Defending his own reaction, he stated, “I h+t her out of provocation to scold her because I can’t watch her d£stroy her life.”
