A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress(ADC), in Niger State, Barrister Abdulrahman Gimba, has tasked the new executives of the party to work hard for the growth of the party across the state.
Barrister Abdulrahman made the call during an engagement with the new ADC Executives, held at Gudel Hotels Minna, over the weekend.

Barrister Gimba who was a former Minister of Sports and the convener of the engagement, noted that the call became necessary in order to ensure that they embark on intensive mobilization of people across the nock and crannies of the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He said: “The task ahead of you now, requires that all of you should put your house together, unite and work as one family so that ADC will record landmark successes in the 2027 general elections”.

He also added “.We are here today because of a principle of participatory democracy, and in participatory democracy, the elected group who oversee the affairs of the party, is the engine room and that’s why I decided that,I will engage the engine room”.

The legal luminary promised to replicate the engagement with all the relevant stakeholders of the party across the remaining zones of zone A and C respectively.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the engagement, the new Chairman of African Democratic Congress ADC, Niger State Chapter, Abdulhamid El-Waziri, blamed the inability of the APC led administration at federal and state level to confront the challenges bedevilling the country such as insecurity, poverty and lack of basic amenities for the killing of innocent lives.

El-Waziri added”.The policies they are making, not that the policies are bad, but, before you make any policy, you have to know where to cushion the effect, adding that, when you don’t have the plan, then, you are bond to fail.

Meanwhile, Nigerians are tired of this government, the masses are tired of this government, they want alternatives, and you can not get alternatives without a formidable opposition, and ADC is one”.He emphasized.

Abdulhamid El-Waziri accused APC for overheating the political scenes ahead of the general elections, saying, how can a right thinking government called its legislature into Aso Rock to endorse a seating President for another time, and this is a President that said, if I didn’t give you light, nobody should vote for me for the second time,so what are we waiting for,did you get light”.ADC Chair asked rhetorically.
