A Pan Nigerian social activist from Niger Delta Comr. Tsaye Edeyibo Mene was honoured by Advanced Management Academy for her crusade for Social Justice, Equity and respect for human rights ; as an icon of social Justice and leadership.
In a remark at the event, the vice Chancellor Nasarawa State University Keffi , NSUK, Professor Sa’adatu Liman, who Chaired the occasion praised her resilient and contribution towards socal justice for women and girls not only in Niger Delta but also in Nigeria.

Comr. Tsaye Edeyibo Mene who is the 1st Vice President Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths Associated,(UIY) was commended for her initiative in the development of Women and the Girl Child in the country.
The event, held on the 27th of March, resonated with the spirit of International Women’s Day, highlighting the intersection of gender advocacy and systemic social reform.
Also speaking at the event, the Royal father of the occasion , His Royal Highness Oba Dr. Adetayo Haastrup, the Olumobi of Imobi, Ijesha Land, Osun State congratulated her and all awardees.
The event organized by the Advanced Management Academy in Abuja to mark this year’s International Women Day ,IWD, was an high-profile platform that celebrates women dedicated to the relentless pursuit of equity and the defense of human rights.
The award underscores Comr. Mene’s growing influence as a formidable voice in the socio-political landscape advocating for social justice and empowering women and girls.
She is a leading voice in both ethnic nationality rights and environmental activism.

The Advanced Management Academy noted that the recognition was born out of her consistent track record of service and her commitment to fostering a society where justice is not a privilege, but a right accessible to all.
Dr Peter Oyeneye , a Public Relations professor and MD of the Management Academy highlighted the profound contribution of Mrs Mene towards socal justice, equity ,rule of law irrespective of tribe , religion an ethnic nationality.
In her acceptance speech, Comr. Mene expressed her deep gratitude to God for the award , saying it is an achievement for all women and girls who are feeling the pinch of marginalization in their respective enclaves.
”I am truly honoured and humbled. This award isn’t just a recognition of my work, but a testament to the power of collective efforts towards creating a more just and equitable society.”
She dedicated the award to God Almighty , her family, well wishers in Niger Delta and Nigeria at large; saying it would spur her to do more while dedicating her life to more work in advocating for the marginalized and the underserved people, especially women and girls.
She acknowledged the difficult path women ,girls and those who continue to speak out in the face of glaring oppression and deprivation, pass through in the society.
Her recognition serves as a powerful reminder that leadership is most effective when it is tethered to service humanity.
The International women’s Day event with the theme,'”Rights.Justice. Action for all Women and Girls brought together women from all sphere of life who have attained certain heights in their chosen career ; while the theme of the conference was, ‘Taking Action for justice and Rights of Women and Girls’
