The Sardaunan Gombe, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna has felicitated with Muslim Ummah across the State on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
Dr. Gwamna, a foremost 2027 APC Governorship aspirant in the State, gave the goodwill message through his media aide, Ibrahim Sani Shawai.
Dr. Gwamna said that the period of the fast had provided opportunity for the faithfuls to have deep reflection as well as draw lessons from the Ramadan to make a better version of all Muslims.
“I thank Allah, that we all are able to see this year’s celebrations and I wish to encourage all faithfuls to learn the lessons of Ramadan to be able to better ourselves and remain committed and obedient to the will of Allah”, he stressed.
Dr.Gwamna then urged Muslims to sustain prayers for the good of the society and against the security challenges in the country, while expressing optimism that the country would emerge better and stronger for the benefit of all citizens.
“On behalf of myself and family, I wish Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Emir of Gombe and the entire Emirs and Chiefs in the State as well as the good people of the State a Happy Sallah celebration, while urging youths to shun violence and to celebrate with caution,” he said.
