A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Dr Jamilu Isiaku Gwamna, has lauded Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for ensuring a level playing ground during the Wards and Local Governments Congresses of the party in the State.

Gwamna, who contested for Governor in 2019 and 2023 on different party platforms also commended the peaceful conduct of the exercise in all parts of the state.

In a press statement, Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Media Aide to Gwamna, a Governorship hopeful in 2027 said, Gwamna hailed Governor Yahaya’s “effective leadership” in the State as the reason for the rancour-free exercise. He described Yahaya as a unifier and courageous leader.

Gwamna said that for an exercise of such nature to be held in 114 wards, 11 LGAs and 13 LCDA’s through consensus, yet not a case of chaos or tension, showed that Yahaya as the party leader in the State has provided the needed dynamic and inclusive leadership.

“When you see such an exercise being conducted without chaos or skirmishes, it is not by accident; but by design and strategic leadership that has provided the level playing field for everyone.

“This showed that the motto of our great party which is Justice, Peace, and Unity has been achieved during the congresses and we are happy that all is well with Gombe APC and that we are one big united family”, Gwamna reiterated.

Dr. Gwamna therefore, urged APC stakeholders in the State to continue to support Governor Yahaya as he steers the affairs of the party in the State towards 2027.

He expressed optimism that the APC would remain strong and united, so as to consolidate gains made by Governor Yahaya’s administration, while working to return President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
