The National President of the Nigeria military school Exboys Association, Mohammed Baba Marte, has congratulated alumni who featured prominently at the joint graduating ceremony of Senior Course 47 and Junior Course 100 at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji. Kaduna

The Association described the ceremony as more than a routine milestone, pointing instead to a consistent pattern of NMS-trained officers distinguishing themselves across professional military education.
Several Exboys emerged with top distinctions.

From Senior Course 47, Squadron Leader N Lord-Mallam received the Minister of Defence Award for Innovation, while Lieutenant Commander RM Bello was named Most Improved Officer in the Department of Maritime Warfare.

At Junior Course 100, Captain IM Sakwa placed third in the Department of Land Warfare, and Lieutenant (Navy) EJ Ikekhuamen earned the Most Improved award in Maritime Warfare.

In his remarks, Mr Marte said the achievements pointed to more than individual success, describing them as a reflection of the “institutional discipline and leadership culture” associated with the Nigerian Military School.

According to the Association, the completion of the two courses signals readiness for higher responsibility, with graduates expected to move into more demanding command, staff and operational roles across the Armed Forces.

The Association said it would continue to recognise the professional achievements of its members, while promoting excellence and strengthening the enduring bond of brotherhood among Exboys across generations.

It added that the latest successes once again highlighted the lasting influence of the Nigerian Military School, long after its graduates have left the parade ground for senior leadership roles.
