Security repel Boko Haram attacks on Hong Community in Adamawa

The Police on Friday repelled suspected Boko Haram fighters on Mayo Ladde Community in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
This is coming on a day when Nigeria and the United States landed bombs on terrorists hide outs in Sokoto State. Though the figures of casualties are yet to be made public.
But U.S President, Donald Trump said the attack was highly successful.
According to the police report, Boko Haram reportedly invaded Mayo Ladde but were repelled by the joint security.
The area borders Askira Uba and Sambisa Forest in Borno State.
The police report stated that there were no casualties in the attacks.
The report stated that the villagers had fled the community before the arrival of the terrorists.

The report had it that “following a distress call at about 9.00pm, the joint security comprising the police, troop of the

“A team comprising the police and troops of 144 Battalion and Civilian JTF responded promptly and repelled the attack.
No casualties were recorded.
“However, before the arrival of the terrorist, the villagers had already fled the area.”
