The All Progressives Congress is set for the commencement of e-registration.
No fewer than 1,300 ward agents have been trained for the
exercise in Enugu State.

The party also expressed confidence that it would conclude the registration before the January 30, 2026, deadline set by its National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.

The APC e-registration coordinator in the state, Flavour Eze, disclosed this in Enugu while taking journalists around the four training centres where the agents were trained.

Eze said the ward agents were trained to carry out the registration exercise, expected to commence in January 2026, adding that the party trained five agents per ward across the state’s 260 wards.

While reminding them that they are the pillars of the party in Enugu State, the coordinator urged them to understand the training to enable them to deliver effectively on their assignments.

“APC wants to ensure that there is no mistake during the registration because if we don’t get it right, there will be a problem.

“So, we are trying to make sure that everybody is being registered in the right way, and I am happy they understood what they were being taught.

We are training five persons per ward and we will still go to the villages to get canvassers on how to canvass to get more members as well,” he said.

According to him, the Enugu State Government is taking the registration exercise seriously and, as such, will support the party with the necessary logistics to enable it succeed.

He consequently urged the people of Enugu State to be happy with the gesture of the state government, which he said has also put in place packages to empower them.
