Cross River Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (CR-MEDA), has officially introduced the recently commissioned ICT Hub in the state, to the tech community.
This feat was achieved through a networking event tagged, “Techies Connect,” which brought together local tech professionals to strengthen the state’s tech ecosystem and share updates on the new facility.
Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of Cross River MEDA, Great Ogban, at the event maintained that the ICT Hub remains a strategic initiative of Prince Bassey Otu’s administration aimed at harnessing the potentials of tech entrepreneurs in the region.
Highpoint of the event was a guided tour of the newly commissioned hub and a mini-ideation session.
Attendees also received a presentation on the hub’s objectives from its manager, Ekuri Ekuri Asu

The Cross River ICT Hub is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support local innovation with a fully equipped 100-person workstation, complete with desktop computers, high-speed internet and a reliable 24 hour power supply.
