The commission explained that the in-person registration phase will commence on August 25, 2025, and will be available at all 37 state offices and the 774 local government area offices across the federation.

INEC stressed, is to ensure proximity and easy access for prospective voters, especially those in rural and hard-to-reach communities.

“The CVR exercise is open to new voters aged 18 and above, individuals seeking to collect or transfer their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), and those who need to replace lost or damaged PVCs,” the commission stated.

INEC further urged Nigerians to take advantage of the early online phase to minimize crowding during the physical registration process, assuring that all necessary logistics have been put in place to ensure a seamless exercise.
