Senator Dino Melaye has formally joined African Democratic Congress (ADC) party barely two hours after announcing his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He is captured in the video with the caption “SDM fully ADC”, Melaye..and was received by some chieftains of the ADC opposition party.
He was handed the ADC’s membership card before being congratulated by the party chieftains.
It would be recalled that Sen. Dino Melaye, exited from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing the party’s lack of potency and capacity as reasons for his membership withdrawal.
This was contained in a resignation letter addressed to his Ward Chairman in ijumu Local Government Area, Kogi State.
Melaye had in the letter shared on his X handle on Thursday held that the PDP no longer has the capacity to deliver Nigeria.Nigeria travel packages
While expressing his gratitude to the party for the opportunity given to him, the ex-lawmaker turned lawyer declared his withdrawal from all the party’s activities.
“I hereby tender my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at all levels of involvement. This decision has become imperative due to the lack of potency and capacity by the party to deliver the Nigerian people from the prevailing political cankerworms that have eaten deeply into the fabric of our dear nation.
“Having carefully reflected on the state of the party, I can no longer in good conscience participate in the activities of the parties or lend my support to her agenda.Nigeria travel packages
“In view of the above, please consider this as my formal withdrawal from the party and all its activities at all levels with immediate effect.
“Thank you for the opportunity to serve under the platform during my period of membership.” The letter read.
