As part of his administration’s efforts to drive excellence in agricultural education and research, Cross River governor, Prince Bassey Otu, has approved the appointment of key principal officers, into the College of Agriculture, Obubra.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on media and publicity to the governor, Linus Obogo, and made available to newsmen, Monday.
The statement named Dr. Gabriel Osang as the Registrar, while Mr. Ignatius Ugbeche is to serve as Bursar.
The list also has Dr. Veronica Akpana Adinya as the College librarian, Engr Joseph Eyamba heads Physical Planning, while Engr Melody Charles Abeng, is to serve as Director of Works (Civil Engineering).
Congratulating the appointees, the governor charged them “to bring diligence, professionalism and innovation to bear in repositioning the institution for greater impact under the people first agenda.”
