Former President Goodluck Jonathan, NDLEA Chairman Buba Marwa, and Air Peace boss Allen Onyema are among 20 distinguished personalities set to be honoured at the first ever Diplomatic/Security International Conference hosted by the Diplomatic Correspondents Association of Nigeria (DICAN).
The event, which is scheduled for July 23 in Abuja, will focus on Nigeria’s 4D foreign policy Democracy, Development, Demography, and Diaspora—and how diplomacy, security, and media can shape national and global stability.
The conference marks a major step in promoting dialogue around Nigeria’s global role in a changing world.
DICAN Chairman, Idehai Frederick, described the conference as a timely platform for aligning foreign policy with security and media engagement.
Also receiving awards are top diplomats, security chiefs, and institutions making significant contributions to peace and national development.
Speakers include Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, the Ministers of Defence and Interior, the EU Ambassador, Egypt’s Ambassador, and Nigeria’s Service Chiefs.
