Former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan has given the reason President Bola Tinubu should enjoy the votes of Northern Christians in the 2027 presidential election.
Reno Omokri on his verified twitter handle now X said Tinubu has been able to secure many Northern Christians in the Kwajajafa Axis, from Zuru in Kebbi State to Gembu in Taraba State.
He stated: “two years of the Tinubu administration have shown that never at any time since 2014 have Nigerian Christians been more secure than under Tinubu.
“The Tinubu era marks the first time many Northern Christians in the Kwajajafa Axis, from Zuru in Kebbi State to Gembu in Taraba State, have been able to return to their villages and farms.
“According to the Institute for Economics and Peace’s annual Global Terrorism Index, insecurity in Nigeria is at its lowest level since 2014.”
He therefore added, “So that Islamisation fear that drove you, Northern Christians, to vote for Peter Obi in 2023 has been proven to be a fluke!
“With the loss of that fear, many of you Northern Christians can now see Peter Obi more objectively for who he is: a man who unashamedly and blatantly covers any evil that happens in Igboland while amplifying trouble occurring in the North and Southwest.”
On Peter Obi, the former presidential aide said “You have seen how Peter Obi, whom you thought would protect you, has now turned himself into an Alhaji ba Mecca. The only Islamisation agenda in Nigeria is Peter Obi’s conversion from a Papal knight of the Order of St Sylvester in the Catholic Church to a Malam Ba Quran.
“Since the 2025 Lenten Fasting Season started on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, have any Northern Christian communities received a visit from Peter Obi? Has he donated a grain of rice to your churches or societies? The Christian Association of Nigeria 19 Northern States recently elected a new President and Executive Council. Did Peter Obi even acknowledge it or issue a congratulatory message?
“The answer to these questions is no. He has used and dumped you. He plans to rinse and repeat the strategy in 2027.
But since Ramadan fasting began on Saturday, March 1, 2025, Peter Obi has been dressing like a Malam and pretending to fast with the very Muslim Ummah he plotted to ethnically and religiously cleanse via a religious war in his leaked audio. He sits with Almajiri to share the same spoon with them.
But Northern Christians, who voted for him in 2023, have been forgotten! No be Gadus be that?
“Peter Obi goes around Igboland donating monies to schools and hospitals but has totally ignored Northern Christians, because the election is not near.
“But once 2026 comes, he will start his church visitations shouting his gospel of “church take back your country!” from pulpit to altar with his lackey, Paul Enenche.
“The Christian North should ask themselves some questions.
Since Tinubu became President, has the Federal Government ever tried to take your land and forcefully turn it into ranches, or told you “Giving land for farming is better than death”?
Has the Southern Kaduna Genocide not ended?
What has happened to Ali Kachala, Boderi Isyaku, Sani Dangote, and other bandits who were killing you before 2023? Have they not been killed?
Who is the most senior uniformed military officer in Nigeria? Is it not General Christopher Musa, a Northern Christian like you?
If you consider the above facts dispassionately and objectively, the only logical conclusion is that President Bola Tinubu has, by his actions, earned your votes for 2027, while Peter Obi has, by his inactions, lost them.
