Many were feared dead in Wednesday night taker explosion around the Karu bridge area.
Witnesses said the fuel-laden truck lost control around the Karu bridge, an area between Kugbo and Nyanya on the Abuja-Keffi Expressway.
It was gathered some cars were trapped in the incident with occupants unable to escape.
Several residents were said to be running to safety while efforts were on to reach authorities over the incident.
