The Accountant General of Nasarawa State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed (Baraden Nasarawa), has embarked on a strategic engagement with members of the State Executive Council (SEC) to foster synergy and alignment with the developmental vision of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration.
As part of this initiative, Baraden Nasarawa visited 16 commissioners across various ministries, reinforcing the importance of financial prudence, accountability, and teamwork in delivering the administration’s objectives. These visits were aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation, ensuring fiscal discipline, and enhancing service delivery across the state.
During his engagements, the Accountant General emphasized the need for closer collaboration between the Ministry of Finance and other ministries to optimize resource allocation, enhance project execution, and sustain the government’s economic blueprint. He assured the commissioners of his office’s commitment to facilitating seamless financial operations, expediting payments for critical projects, and ensuring that budgetary provisions are effectively utilized to impact the lives of the people of Nasarawa State.
The commissioners, in turn, commended Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed for his proactive leadership, describing his visits as a demonstration of his dedication to transparency and efficiency in public finance management. They reiterated their readiness to work in close partnership with the Accountant General to ensure that the policies and programs of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration are successfully implemented.
