The Nigerian Airforce Base, Kano, has organised its 2024 Base Socio-cultural Activities (BASA), and Chief of Air Staff talks with NAF veterans.
The Socio-Cultural display which took place at the NAF sports complex, drew hundreds of serving personnel and Nigerian Airforce veterans.
The commander, of 455 Base Service, Group Captain M. Suleiman said BASA is the exhibition of diversity by units and the promotion of cordial interaction between personnel and their families.
“During the previous conduct of BASA, less emphasis has been laid on the attendance of the event by veterans who are part and parcel of the Nigerian Airforce successes.
“This avenue is also utilised as the medium to appreciate the unit and personnel for what has been outstanding during their years of commitment.
“The conduct of BASA is seen to be a catalyst for force motivation,” he said.
Suleiman said, the conduct of the activities have been rewarding and a morale booster for veterans.
