As travelers continue to groan over high cost of transportation, the Nasarawa state chapter of the PDP has asked Gov Abdullahi Sule to produce the over #5bn luxury ride buses he claimed to have purchased.
In a press statement issued in Lafia and signed by the PDP Press Secretary, Hon Jonathan Ipaa, the party wants the citizens to demand for the buses meant to cushion their sufferings.
The PDP informed that the buses were proceeds of fuel subsidy removal by the APC control federal government last year.
“We demand categorically for the availability of the buses procured in February 2023 when former president Muhammadu Buhari launched the Lafia and Karu bus terminals.
“We demand for usage the 13 CNG luxury ride buses launched in May 2024”
“We took our search light from Lafia to Karu terminal parks, no single ‘On-the Move’ bus was seen plying the roads.
We asked the passengers, the drivers as well as the officials in charge, nobody except Gov Sule knows where these buses are.”
Meanwhile, commuters are paying their fares through their noise as workers are still groaning over the non implementation of their #70,500,00 national minimum wages.
The PDP noted with dismay, the disappearance of the buses launched by former president Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, the thirteen CNG luxury ride buses launched in March.
But where are they?
