The Federation Account has raked in more money under the watch of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, according to Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, Chairman of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, Dr. Shehu said monies coming to its purse for sharing among the three tiers of Government witnessed 45 percent increase.
He attributed surge to the policies and reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration.
While acknowledging the presence of challenges in the country, hardships, and other things, RMAFC boss said, “but at the end of it, this reform aims to position Nigeria among seriously developing countries. In the long run, the GDP is going to rise significantly.”
