The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has the winner of the Ondo State governorship election held on Saturday.
Aiyedatiwa defeated the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Mr Agboola Ajayi, securing the majority of votes across the state’s 18 local government areas.
Aiyedatiwa scored 366,781 votes, while Ajayi polled 117,845 votes across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State.
