The newly appointed Acting Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Major General Olufemi Olatubosun Oluyede, held a high-level security meeting with Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Christopher Gwabin Musa and National Security Adviser (NSA) Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
The meeting took place just a day after President Bola Tinubu’s announcement appointing Oluyede as Acting COAS while the substantive COAS, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, receives medical treatment abroad.
The discussions were held at the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) in Abuja, underscoring the administration’s emphasis on security continuity and cooperation. Details of the meeting between Oluyede, Musa, and Ribadu have yet to be disclosed.
