A Chief District Court of the Federal Capital Territory has ruled that Comrade Julius Oghenevwegba Bobi remains the authentic president of the Union pending hearing and determination of motion on notice.
According to the Court paper, the matter has been adjourned to 25th November 2024 for the motion on notice.
This has therefore put paid to the leadersgip crisis rocking the Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria.
This was contained in a letter written by the counsel to Comrade Julius Bobi, Parlance Law firm to the Attorney General of the Federation, the Minister of Justice, Ministry of Labour, the Nigerian Labour Congress and other relevant government agencies.
The letter states:

POST JUDGEMENT NOTIFICATION
We continue to act as Counsel to Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN), (herein referred to as our “Client”). We have the instruction of MOUN National leadership to write this notice
TAKE NOTICE: That there is a subsisting order of a competent Court of the Federal Capital Territory regarding the issues bordering on leadership of Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN) pending at the Court and an Order of the Court to maintain status quo
THAT: By this Order of the Court, Comrade Julius Oghenevwegba Bobi remains the National President of the Union to the exclusion of any other person. This Notice is issued to guide you on the future exchange of any correspondence regarding this said union and to assist you in guiding any ignorant individual, of the standing orders of the Court. Consequently, to rebuke any act that could constitute Contempt of Court and embrace compliance with rule of law
The court according to theb certified true copy (CTC) of the Court Order gathered that “Comrade Julius Oghenevwegba Bobi remains the National President of MOUN 1st claimant pending the hearing and determination of the motion on Notice already filed in this suit.
“Interim injunction of the Honourable Court Prohibiting the defendant from impersonating the national president of MOUN 1st claimant and further parading and misrepresenting himself as the national president of MOUN either by himself, his servant privies or agent pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filed in this suit.
“An order directing the defendant to stop the illegal printing of MOUN tickets and remit all revenues already generated by the defendant to his personal account from the sales of the tickets to MOUN corporate account or the account of the court pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filed this suit
“An order of court directing that all revenues be paid into the unions Ecobank corporate accounts no 0480035700 with account name: Motorcycle Operators Union of Nigeria and an Order prohibiting the use of personal account for remittances of any revenues generated by the union pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filed in this suit.
“An order by this Honourable Court that the change of the registered gazette address is at variance with the provisions of MOUN Constitutional provisions and order sealing off the illegal address at Utako for maintenance of the status quo pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filed in this suit
“An order of this Honourable Court directing all the parties to maintain status quo pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice already filed in this suit
“An order of the Honourable Court that the defendant/respondent be place on notice served with the proper processes of court .”
