Comptroller Morenikeji Bewaji, in charge of the Ondo/Ekiti Customs Area Command, in Akure, the command headquarters reiterated the service’s commitment to working with relevant sister agencies.
During a familiarisation visit by the newly posted Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commander, Samuel Ibitoye, to the Command, the CAC expressed optimism to collaborate with FRSC which is a key component of the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi’s policy thrust.
She assured the newly posted sector commander of her unwavering and increased support to achieve both agencies’ mandates.
In response, the FRSC Corps Commander Ibitoye requested the repositioning of the operational capacity of both agencies in the state.
Reacting, Comptroller Bewaji conveyed her pleasure that the FRSC and other sister agencies have realised that one tree does not make a forest and are now uniting to build on each other’s strengths to accomplish unique objectives.
She encouraged the sector commander to maintain the spirit he exhibited upon his arrival in the state.
