Lottery Trust fund implements 78 projects nationwide, says EX

The Executive Se regarding, National Lottery Trust Fund, Comrade, Tosin Adeyanju, said the fund has implemented no fewer than 78 projects nationwide.

This is as Adeyanju also urged the government to utilise the fund in its intervention programmes.

Adeyanju made the disclosure during an audience with the House Committee on Inter-Governmental Affairs who were on an oversight visit.

NLTF EX according to a statement by Arowolo Solomon Alaba, Special Assistant to the Executive Secretary (Media & Corporate Communications), praised President Bola Tinubu for his efforts in alleviating poverty in Nigeria urged the president to utilize NLTF to reach vulnerable Nigerians.

” He highlighted NLTF’s mandate to support GOOD CAUSES in health, education, environment, sport, water,disaster relief, and humanitarian activities citing 78 projects implemented nationwide.

“He assured equitable distribution of interventions,” if the the fund is utilised.

He also expressed willingness to partner with the lawmakers to achieve NLTF’s mandate.

The House Committee on Inter-Governmental Affairs Chairman, Chukwugozie Canic Moore Nwachukwu, according to the statement said, “committee aimed to engage with NLTF, assess its activities, and offer solutions to challenges faced by the organization.

“Nwachukwu stated, “Our visit is to interface with NLTF, understand its successes, problems, and activities, and provide support where needed for the betterment of the country.” He noted that this was the committee’s first visit to NLTF and expressed their happiness to be there.

The committee members commended NLTF’s efforts and pledged their support. Hon. Ime Okon, Deputy Committee Chairman, said, “We are impressed with NLTF’s work and commit to supporting their initiatives.”

The visit marked a significant step in fostering collaboration between NLTF and the House Committee on Inter-governmental Affairs, aimed at promoting national development and supporting GOOD CAUSES.

Other members of the visiting team included Committee Clerk Aimila Kehinde, Hon. Esosa Iyane, Hon. Ibe Okwara, Hon. Agbodike Pascal, and Hon. Alex Ikwechegh, with Deputy Clerk Aduku Mercy.
