The country has again been plunged into total darkness, as the Transmission Company of Nigeria, Monday 5 August 2024 announced the collapsed of the national electricity grid.
This is the fifth time the national grid will be collapsing in 2024.
An official of the Transmission Company of Nigeria, who confirmed the incident to Punch said it was a partial collapse.
The TCN official, who spoke under the condition of anonymity however said power is being restored gradually.
