Protesters hold Church service at Olaiya overhead bridge in Osun

The Protesters on Sunday gathered at the Olaiya overhead bridge in Osogbo to performed their church service under tight heavily armed security.

The service commence at exactly 12:01p.m with praises and worship before a sermon was delivered with the Holy Bible quotations from the book of Gen. 14:13 and the book of Mattew 21:9-10 as read by Mr Alfred Adegoke.

The Preacher , Mr Emmanuel Olowu, talked about the essence of good leadership and followers which is synonymous to what is happening with the current predicament in the country .

Olowu said everyone from different religious groups must come together to support the course for a good leadership.

The church service ended at about 12:27 p.m and the protesters continue with their chanting for good governance.

Speaking with one of the protesters who sang the praise during their service , Mr Sayo Ogunleye, he said that the service was necessary to prayered to God for answer prayers .

Ogunleye said that the protest would continue until their demands are met despite the president speech to the nation.

He called for the support of all concern citizens in the state to ensure that the demands of the protesters are met within the days of protest .

The Olaiaya overhead bridge witnessed the presence of security personnel to include the police , NSCDC, Nigeria Immigration, the Federal Road Safety Corps and other security agencies.
