Governor Bala sacks security adviser

Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed, Wednesday sacked his Chief Security Adviser, Ahmed Adamu Chiroma.

The sack, according to a statement by the media aide to the governor, Mukhtar Gidado is with immediate effect.

Gidado also stated that the termination of appointment was communicated through a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Mohammed Kashim.

Chiroma, he said was directed to hand over his duties to the Chief Security Officer to the governor.

He stated: “Governor Bala Mohammed, on behalf of the government and the people of Bauchi State, thanks the former Chief Security Adviser for his services to the state. The general public is hereby informed of this development.”
