Four people have so far been rescued while a corper by name Melanie is still trapped in the collapsed two-storey residential apartment in Abuja
NewsSpecng was reliably informed by Mrs Ellah Onyeka who said ” a man left the building yesterday with his family when he noticed a crack and this morning some occupants of the building also moved out saying the building was shacking and they tried informing the rest occupants but to no avail and so they left.”
Continuing she said “the building collapsed by 7am this morning ”
Mrs Onyeka who is living within the vicinity of the collapsed building further confirmed that she counted 4 people rescued alive while a corper Melanie is still trapped in the rubble along others.
” We are praying that the lady be alive ” she said.
However, NEMA and other emergency responders including security personnel have been on ground to rescue victims.
And as at the time of filing this report no official casualty has been given .
