More than two weeks after the murder of 17 military personnel in Okuama, residents of community are still taking refuge in the bush as the military lay siege in search of the perpetrators of the crime.
From their hideout some residents of Okuama community send Save Our Soul ( SOS) call to the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu .
They said the fleeing children, women and men of the community have no water, food, shelter, and medical care.
They claimed they have lost some individuals to sickness and snake bite in the bush, and appeal for acceptance.
According to them many people are dying, due to lack of medical care and food as well as shelter .
They are calling on the Federal and State Government to come to their rescue. ” President Bola Ahmed please rescue our people from the bush.” According to the SOS message.
