The management of Dash Ride has launched an online Taxi and Food Application with the slogan titled “This na our own” in Abuja, to help ease transportation of goods and services in the country.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the organisation, Mr Yakubu Akoh Audu, at the launching ceremony said the App is aimed at favorably replacing the old and existing eHailing platforms in the country by directly fixing the inadequacies being experienced.

According to the CEO, with the introduction of the Dash Ride App both Drivers and Riders can now have a fresh air of relief and security in the country.

“Dash Ride app is an innovative technology app which we have eHailing like a taxi you can order online and then we have food ordering inside where you can order food from your favourite restaurant.

“The security system is top notch as you have an OTP a one time security password, before you enter the Ride that is required to give to the driver for him to confirm that you are the real person.

“We are charging 13 per cent, in the 13% we are taking 8%, 5% is for the drivers in terms of their health insurance, life insurance, then also guaranty contributory saves from their 5% to enable them have a contribution that will help them at the long run.

“In terms of community development, we want to be actively involved in community development to let people know what we care about them and we brought this to Nigeria because of the level of insecurity so that we can achieve alot,” Audu said.

However, he said some of the feature on the Dash Ride App is the introduction of security button which will guarantee safety while on a trip if there is any danger.

The CEO maintained that, in addition all the drivers registered under the platform is guaranteed insurance and HMO as a base for effective delivery of their job.
