His Highness Ogiame Atuwatse III, Olu of Warri is in Uganda on a bilateral visit.
The traditional leader was received by Uganda Minister for Agriculture Hon Frank Tumwebaze.
In a post on X formerly twitter by the Kampala post,” Tumwebaze met the Nigerian cultural leader on behalf of the Senior Presidential Adviser on special operations Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who could not meet the cultural leader due to other national duties”
According to the Kampala Post, the meeting took place Entebbe on Monday December 3 and also had the presence of the Entebbe municipality mayor Fabrice Rurinda.
The discussions during the meeting covered potential areas where Nigeria and Uganda could cooperate.
Despite the absence of Gen Kainerugaba, Tumwebaze conveyed his gratitude to the King and his delegation for choosing to visit Uganda.
In another development His Highness Ogiame Atuwatse III is set to host a Royal Iwere Christmas Carol themed “Unto Us a King is Born”
The event is slated for Saturday 16th December by 3pm at the Palace Church Aghofen.
