The two gunmen reportedly opened fire at a bus stop during the morning rush hour.
The ambulance service says at least six people have been injured, some critically.
Meanwhile, Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir says the two shooters in Jerusalem are members of Hamas and were residents in East Jerusalem.
“These are apparently Hamas operatives, who speak here with two voices, one voice of a so-called cease-fire and a second voice of terror,” said Gavir, who was addressing reporters at the scene of the attack.
He added that the attack shows the importance of distributing weapons to civilians in Israel.
Also, Israeli’s military has asked Gazans to stay away from northern Gaza, which is “still considered a war zone.”
Hundreds of thousands of residents have moved south for their safety in the last few weeks, after Israel issued several warnings for them to evacuate north Gaza.
The Israel Defense Forces has been posting daily reminders during the truce for Gazans to stay at least a kilometre away from the Israel-Gaza border and to warn them not to exit the territory via sea.
