The People’s Democratoc Party’s Presidential candidate in the February 2023 poll, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku finally came to the end of his wit in his bid to upturn the election of President Bola Tinubu.
The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed the his appeal against the September 6 judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), affirming the election of President Bola Tinubu.
In the lead judgment read by Justice John Okoro, which the seven-man panel unanimously resolved all the seven issues identified for determination against the appellants.
The other members of the panel are: Justices Uwani Abba-Aji, Mohammed Garba Lawal, Ibrahim Saulawa, Adamu Jauro, Tijani Abubakar and Emmanuel Agim.
The court upheld the judgment of the PEPC and proceeded to affirm Tinubu’s victory.
