The All Progressives Congress, APC has announced Senator Abubakar Kyari, as the party’s Acting Chairman.
This follows the resignation of sen. Abdullahi Adamu and Sen. Iyiola Omisore as the National chairman and National secretary respectively.
According to Kyari, he is to take over as acting chairman while Deputy National Secretary, Barrister Festus Fuanter takes over as acting Secretary.
Adamu was conspicuously absent at the Monday National Working Committe (NWC) meeting.
However, Omisore who was at the meeting staged a walks
NewsSpec had on Sunday reported that the National Chairman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu and the secretary Sen. Iyiola Omisore had resigned from their positions in the party.
The public was eager to see if both principal officers were going to be present at the meeting but Senator Abdullahi Adamu was absent as the NWC met in Abuja on Monday.
Also, the National Secretary of the party, Senator Iyiola Omisore, who was present, stormed out of the meeting held at the party secretariat in Abuja.
The APC NWC meeting was presided over by the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Abubakar Kyari.
