President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mrs Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein as the substantive Accountant general of the Federation.
The appointment followed a successful conduct of a selection process to fill the existing vacancy.
The appointment was confirmed by a statement by the Director of Communication in the Office of the Head of the Service of the Federation, Mohammed Abdullahi Ahmed.
Ahmed quoted the head of service of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan to have said that the appointment was with immediate effect from Thursday, May 18, 2023.
Until her appointment, Madein was the Director of Finance and Accounts, DFA, in the office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
