The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has promised to get the police officer who was seen flogging a man in a video in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
The said video has since been trending on social media and has generated a lot of response.
In the video, a police officer with his rifle was seen flogging a man with a cane.
The young man said “why are you flogging me, am I thief, did I steall something”
The policeman slapped him severally while telling him to get into his car.
The other officer was also telling the lady with the young man to get into their car.

The police spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi reacted to this video by saying:
“Quite unfortunate. I have asked the Rivers State Command to fish them out. This is unpolice, unethical, and condemned. Whatever the man must have done, he doesn’t deserve this beating. Beating him like a baby?? A grown-up man?. We will surely get the men.”
