Senator-elect, Ireti Heebah Kingibe, has revealed that she has been quietly doing some data collation and research on her
projects and developmental goals across the six area council.
The Labour Party, Senatorial Elect FCT, Mrs. Kingibe, revealed that she has been quietly undergoing some data collation and research on her projects and developmental goals across the area councils in FCT.
She said the process needed a lot of concentration without distraction, since time is not on our side to transform FCT after her inauguration in order to hit the ground running, especially on projects like, water, zero hunger, medi-care, education, sustainable skills acquisition, employment for our youths and not for only family members and friends as some politicians do.
She also expressed disappointment at the unprofessional and inhumane approach of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN towards the implementation of the Policy, which according to her could have been well intended by the presidency, since other advanced countries the world over, have gone cashless a long time ago without stressing the People.
Kingibe, who after 20 years of running for the Senatorial seat from NNPP, PDP and now LP, was grateful to God and FCT residents for their massive support to her at the last poll in FCT, she further promised to be as transparent as possible as their senator Elect thus, the people have the right to ask or hold her responsible for any project or policies that will not positively affect her constituency the FCT.
