Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has been accused by the PDP senatorial candidate of Kogi central, Natasha Akpotu of destroying five roads leading to her hometown in order to prevent INEC officials from arriving.

She said they’re completely cut off from the rest of Kogi.

The PDP senatorial candidate shared a video on social media showing the level of destruction of the road

Akpotu who has been a long term enemy of the governor of the state said the five roads leading to her community has been cut off.

She said the Yahaya Bello has cut her off from Kogi state generally

“I woke up to the news that Governor Yahaya Bello had instructed excavation of all access road to my home town , cutting me off from travelling out of my home town”

“What this means is that there will not be able to get materials to certain communities especially my hometown”

“What this also means is that , if Yahaya Bello and his goons decides decides to attack means and the good people of Kogi central, it will be impossible for the DPO and the police to gain access here”

“That means we are trapped , no way out because Yahaya Bello has dug gullies”

Akpotu said the road was dug few minutes before her arrival. She also said the local government chairman,who supervised the job ran away when he saw her.

Akpotu added that if this road is not covered by tomorrow it will be impossible for INEC to bring in materials to the community

She then called on the president,the inspector General of Police and the service chiefs to call Yahaya Bello to order.

She further alleged that Governor Yahaya Bello has sewn fake uniforms for his thugs to cause mayhem in the election.
