…El Rufai should be removed , arrested and tried for Treason
Aide to Former president, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokiri has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to order for the arrest of the governor of Kaduna state , Mallam Nasir El Rufai over his comments against the new naira policy or apologize to Nnamdi Kanu.
El Rufai released a broadcast video on Thursday evening where he urged the people of Kaduna to continue spending their old naira notes and that any agency or business caught refusing the old naira notes , will see his business sealed.
Omokiri in a tweet said it is treasonable to go against the order of the president and that El Rufai should be removed , arrested and tried for treason.
The tweet reads;What Nasir @elrufai has done in defying the CBN’s directive approved by Buhari, by saying the old Naira notes would still be valid in Kaduna, is treason. If a state of emergency is not declared in Kaduna, then Buhari should apologise to Nnamdi Kanu and release him.
In another tweet, he said ;”Do we have 2 Presidents in Nigeria? How can El-Rufai promise that Tinubu will revalidate the old Naira that Buhari invalidated? That is treasonable. It is a coup. Beyond treason, it shows that if we elect Tinubu, it will be El-Rufai and Kashim who will be in charge”
Omokiri also added that El Rufai is highly immoral and he is governed by ego and capable of doing anything.
“Nasir El-Rufai is someone I know very closely. He is extremely intelligent, but his intelligence is governed by ego, not conscience. He is HIGHLY immoral. Capable of anything. If you make the mistake of voting Tinubu, El-Rufai will lead a cabal that will control you” he added
