No fewer than 2,500 Nigerians professionals have been deployed to 16 countries as volunteers in the last 8 years under the Technical Aid Corp programme.
This is as the Federal Government said it facilitated the evacuation of 1,531 Nigerians stranded in various countries abroad.
Disclosing this on Thursday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama also said that the Buhari Administration has improved the country’s image at the international level.
Onyeama spoke at the President Muhammadu Buhari Administration Scorecard (2015-2023) organised by the Ministry of Information and Culture.
He said that the administration is also working very hard to make Nigeria join the G20.
