5,945 Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs have been collected in Edo State as at Tuesday, 17 January 2023.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the figure cuts across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
The breakdown of the total figure collected in the state shows that Ikpoba Okha recorded the highest collection with 1, 266 and Etsako Central with the lowest at 83.

Egor 523, Esan Central 104, Esan North East 219, Esan South East 137, Esan West 226, Etsako East 176, Etsako West 283, Igueben 122, Oredo 1107,
Others: Orhionmwon 302, Ovia North East 408, Ovia South West 183, Owan East 132, Owan West 121, Uhunmwode 227
The commission said the collection of PVC is ongoing, every day, including Saturdays and Sundays (excluding public holidays) from 9am to 3pm in every RA (Ward).
It said it will continue until Sunday, January 22 and PVC collection will revert to INEC offices in the LGAs from Monday, January 23 to Sunday, January 29, being the last day for collection.
