Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Felix has hailed the opportunity of joining “one of the great teams in the world'” after putting pen to paper on a loan deal with Chelsea.
The 23 year old six-month loan spell was officially confirmed by Chelsea on Wednesday afternoon with just under £10m set to be paid to Atletico for the deal.
Speaking after signing his contract , Felix said: “Chelsea is one of the great teams in the world and I hope to help the team reach their objectives, so I am very, very happy to be here and very excited to play at Stamford Bridge.”
Chelsea face a test from Fulham in their next Epl game tomorrow and Felix will likely be in the stand to watch his new team.
