The Director General of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, on Monday, recieved a delegation from Spanish Embassy, NewsSpecng learnt.
The delegation which arrived at the Chamber’s secretariat in Abuja, was led by the Deputy Head of Mission, Spain, Juan Torres Reus.
The visit is a follow-up to the MoU signed with the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
The signing of MoU between the Chamber and Catalonia is to partner in the area of food production especially meat.
The delegation seeks for a collaboration and partnership that would lead to increase in trade volume between Nigeria and Spain.
The DG who received the team lauded the initiative of the MoU signing between NACCIMA and Spanish business community, she added “when we sign MoU, we make sure it is implemented.”
She also urge them to call on ACCI whenever they have international business forum, stressing that it would help strengthen the MoU.
