The All Progressive Congress will on Tuesday unveiling its online media and news outfit, “Newsonline”, The Nation has learnt.
The Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates of APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima are to be the grand guests of honour at the unveiling which has the theme “Beyond 2023: APC and the future of Nigeria”.
Also expected at the unveiling is APC National Chairman, Senator Abdulahi Adamu, who is listed as Special guest of honour.
The online news outfit, according to gathering, is part of the strategies to get accurate and timely information out to the general public.
Besides, the APC online outfit according to its Publisher, Dr Tom Ohikere, will provide the platform through which the party can showcase its achievements and also outline its programmes.
According to a statement signed by Dr. Ohikere, the occasion which is to be held
on 27, September 2022 is to herald the commencement of the presidential campaign.
The statement reads in part, “As a frontline media and news outfit committed to the promotion and projection of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the APC NewsOnline is scheduled to be formally unveiled at a grand ceremony.”
Among other high profile guests expected at the event are : Chief Omene Oghenevo, Chairman of the occasion, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, guest speaker, as well as ministers and various state governors of the APC.
