Hon. Joy Ohiomero, the Labour party (LP) candidate for House of Reps Abuja South, FCT has called on FCT administration and Market developers to make Fire service point mandatory and provide Security gadgets in all Markets In FCT.
She made the statement with the Media during her visit to Gwagwalada main market where some shops were raised down by fire.
Speaking further, Ohiomero further advised residents to always be their brothers keeper during time of distress and especially in this hard times.
After her visit, she promised to cushion the effects losses to the traders during the fire incident.
In Response, the Chairman of Gwagwalada Main market Traders Association, Alh Murah Muhammad who also confirmed the incidence expressed his appreciation for the urgent and caring visitation of Hon. Joy Ohiomero to the Gwagwalada main market.
The Chairman also commended the speedy response of the Fire Service to the market.
In addition he also pleaded with the FCT administration to provide Fire service point in the market for emergency purposes.
