The Executive Vice Chairman/ Chief Executive (ECV/CE) of the National Agency for Science and Engineering infrastructure (NASENI), Prof. Muhammad Haruna has bagged a platinum award of excellence.
The meritorious Sir Ahmadu Bello Platinum Award of Excellence was presented to the EVC by Northern Students Association who paid a courtesy visit to the Agency.
The group said the award was for Prof. Haruna’s laudable and transformational leadership in NASENI and Nigeria at large.
Special Assistant on Social Media to the EVC, Peter Ewu made this known in a statement.
He added, “Comr. Ibrahim Isah Adam, President NANNS in his remarks thanked the EVC/CE for spearing time out of his busy schedule to receive the delegation.
“Your contribution to the repositioning of NASENI for better service delivery is one worthy of emulation. You have remained a mentor to many of us. We are here with the blessings and well wishes of members of NANNS in all the nineteen northern states of Nigeria including Abuja” he said.
“Comrade Ibrahim said the award is a commendation of the EVC’s meritorious and exemplary service to the nation, youths empowerment and societal development in Nigeria and beyond.

“In his remark Prof. Haruna commended the Northern Students leaders for initiating programs that are beneficial to youth empowerment and national development. He enjoined them to be law abiding citizens, shunning crime and any other activities that will tarnish their image, as they are the future leaders of our great country, Nigeria.
“He further admonished them to live in peace with their tutors because there will be no meaningful development without peace.
“I challenge you, in this present time we need to give peace a chance for meaningful development and good plans of our leaders to become reality”
“He said to have a bright future generation in Nigeria, students must be diligent, humble, loyal and adhere to the rule of law in day-to-day activities.
