FG partners Indonesia on technology transfer

The Federal Government is partnering with the Republic of Indonesia on technology transfer.

The partnership has been cemented between the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), representing Nigeria and PT Saputra Global Harvest on behalf of the Republic of Indonesia.

The relationship was made possible through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two on Saputra’s Products especially its innovative coal fertilize with the aim of rejuvenating the Agricultural sector in the country.

In his remarks, the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive NASENI, Prof. Muhammad Haruna thanked Saputra Global Harvest for a good working relationship thus far.

Special Assistant on Social Media to the Executive Vice Chairman, Peter Ewu made this known in a statement.

He stated, “The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has cemented its bilateral relationship with the Republic of Indonesia through the historic signing of a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) and PT Saputra Global Harvest on Transfer of Technology on Saputra Products especially its innovative coal fertilizer.

“The first of various MoU’s to be signed during the working visit of the Nigerian Delegation to Indonesia. This epoch event which many describe as a step in the right direction in rejuvenating the Agricultural sector of Nigeria, took place at Villa Sawah Resort and Farm, Bogor, Indonesia on 12th September 2022.

“The Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive NASENI, Prof. Muhammad Haruna thanked Saputra Global Harvest for a good working relationship thus far. He extolled the transformative leadership of the Buhari Administration for championing the realization of the long overdue bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Indonesia.

“He further states that, NASENI will remain a willing partner in the production of coal fertilizers as well as export to other African countries.

“While thanking the Embassy of Indonesia in Nigeria for its active participation,
Promotion and support, he assured everyone present of NASENI’s unalloyed commitment to the complete execution of the MoU.

“The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Saputra Global, in his welcome remarks thanked NASENI for its zeal and passion throughout the process, while emphasizing that the coal fertilizer which is the first of its kind invention will bring tremendous impact on agriculture, livestock and farming in Nigeria. He stated that MoU will see NASENI championing the construction of the first Coal Fertilizer Plant in the continent of Africa.

“The Commissioner of Saputra Global Harvest and Inventor of Saputra Coal Fertilizer, Mr. Usman Hassan Saputra, in his passionate remark highlighted the benefits of coal fertilizer to the agricultural sector and the planet. He said the Technology was seamless, supports food security and sustainability programmes around the world with the ultimate goal of reviving the earth from its demise by replenishing soil nutrients.”
