Nigerian Nollywood Actor Alex Ekubo and his fiancée, Fancy Acholonu have decided to go their separate ways.
Speculations about their relationship hitting the rocks surfaced after Fancy unfollowed Alex and also deleted their joint Instagram page which was created to showcase their love.
Fancy got engaged to the popular actor three months ago.
They got engaged in Los Angeles, United States of America.
Confirming the breakup, Fancy in her official Instagram page, did not give a reason for the breakup but urged Nigerians to respect her privacy.
She said: “Hey guys, I am writing to inform you that I have ended my relationship, engagement and I have called off the wedding with Alex Ekubo.
“I am aware this may be a shock to many people. I made the best decision for myself because it is important that everyone finds their happiness and lives in their truth.
“At this time, my family and I ask you to please respect our privacy. Thank you so much.”
