Moshood Lasisi, 62 years old committed suicide by hanging himself in Ayede Ogbese, Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State.
TVC reports that Lasisi who walked on crutches, hung himself after his wife and children left for the farm.
His wife identified as Lady Evangelist Victoria Lasisi discovered his body when she returned home.
Mrs Lasisi said she knocked for her husband to open the door but when he failed to do so, she looked through the window where she saw his body dangling from the rope which he allegedly had hung himself with.
The chairman of the Christian Association Of Nigeria, CAN, in Ogbese, Pastor Oyedeji Aladenika, who confirmed the incident, described it as shocking and wondered why the man had to commit suicide.
The State Police Command is yet to react to this development as of the time of filing this report.
